Vasilis F. Sulaj was born in Albania and raised in Greece. At a very young age his love of Christ and His Church led him into the art of iconography. He has rich experience, having worked on many Churches throughout Greece where he started an apprenticeship in his youth. His highly developed skills to create remarkable Orthodox iconography, combined with his knowledge of the proper layout of iconography within the Churchs, insures the continuation of the Sacred Traditions of Orthodoxy. His abilities extend to the maintenance and restoration of frescos, wooden gold leaf icons, and their cleaning. Vasilis came to the United States in 2016 and performs the art of Iconography in his studio in New York City.
